Brian Cassidy – Managing Director

Brian has a long and illustrious software career, having worked as the senor mathematician on the world’s first billion dollars/year ethical drug Tagamet and lead the systems developer for the European Space Agency's Spacelab project. He was the project director on 3 major database projects in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi. He founded Oracle Europe in 1980 when Oracle was just 12 people strong. Brian led Oracle Europe for 10 years from 1980 to 1990, growing revenues from $0.5M to $500M. In 1990, Brian left Oracle to pursue his technology investments and has since been involved in a number of highly successful start-ups including Saros, the originator of the enterprise document management industry (later sold to IBM) and Netwise (later sold to Microsoft). Brian is both the seed investor and Managing Director of Mobimatics
Niall Doherty - Product and Services Manager
Niall comes from an IT industry background and brings extensive experience working for innovative software product companies such as Meridio and Webforia. During his time with Meridio Niall led the professional services drive on key customer accounts which included the second largest EDRM project in Europe, namely the multi-billion pound UK Ministry of Defence DII(F) project. Other major projects included those for TNT and Deloitte. Niall also brings a strong solution architecture background with him having overseen the design of complex deployments for both large and small-scale customer solutions over a number of years. This has included pioneering work in the areas of product scalability analysis and capacity planning for 100,000 user implementations.

Shaun Cassidy – Commercial Manager
Shaun Cassidy, our Commercial Manager, holds a Masters degree from Queens University, Belfast, and a Law degree from the University of Ulster. Shaun has extensive management experience working for Atlanta based Claddagh Resources, and Belfast based VanRath Selection and SpenglerFox. Shaun previously worked in Seattle for, at the time the 3rd largest Internet Service Provider in the USA, and reported directly to the Senior VP of Marketing. Shaun is the founder of Camus, a successful small property investment company.

Graham Ferguson - Financial Advisor
Graham qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and spent his formative years at KPMG working as a Manager in the Corporate Finance department. In 1999 he was seconded for two years to Powerscreen International PLC where as Group Finance Director he was instrumental in turning a £100m loss to a £25m operating profit the following year. Graham then set up the KPMG Corporate Recovery and Turnaround unit and qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Over the next 6 years this grew to the largest practice in Northern Ireland. Graham then moved to the Bank of Ireland to set up the Business and Acquisition Finance Team, which dealt with levered transactions in Northern Ireland. This team dominated the market sector just 2 years after it was established. More recently, Graham was head-hunted for a new role in property development. Graham now manages one of the largest property development funds in Ireland.
